Ovitas is proud to announce its sponsorship of the GenesisHR Battlegreen Run, an annual event that embodies community spirit and supports local nonprofits. This year’s run will take place on Sunday, November 3rd, at 12:15 PM in Lexington, MA, and promises to be a fantastic opportunity for participants to engage in physical activity while raising funds for various charitable organizations.
The Battlegreen Run has been a cherished tradition in Lexington, drawing participants from all over the area to support local causes. This year, runners and walkers can choose from multiple options, including a 5K run, 10K run, 5K walk, and a 2K walk. For those unable to attend in person or who prefer to maintain social distancing, a virtual participation option is also available.
Since its inception in 1996, the Battlegreen Run has raised over $1 million for local nonprofits, making a significant impact on the community. The event not only fosters a sense of togetherness but also provides essential funding for organizations that work tirelessly to improve the lives of residents in the area.
Participants are encouraged to form teams and leverage their networks to maximize fundraising efforts, with all proceeds benefiting local charities. This year’s run will also feature family-friendly activities and refreshments, creating a festive atmosphere for all attendees.
